It's a basic android phone and does what you need it to do. The touch screen works well and the phone gets good reception. Those are the two main things I ask for in a smart phone.
This phone is awesome played with it for a while,its great for personal use for its customization. HTC made easy interface with Google home screen look awesome but the limited edition fender edition looks better.Have a Great Time using it!!! Have a good one!!

phone works as stated, battery life is decent for a 3g phone. I love the android market that comes with the phone. OS works great for a smartphone, cant complain with my purchase. Track ball is a ok feature though i must say i have never used it.

Summary: Just like the Nexus One, MyTouch 3G Slide is made by HTC and reminds of the current crop of HTC Android phones a lot. In many respects (screen, processor, memory, software, performance) you can say it is HTC Legend with a sliding QWERTY and in a plastic case.
