It's a basic android phone and does what you need it to do. The touch screen works well and the phone gets good reception. Those are the two main things I ask for in a smart phone.

phone works as stated, battery life is decent for a 3g phone. I love the android market that comes with the phone. OS works great for a smartphone, cant complain with my purchase. Track ball is a ok feature though i must say i have never used it.

Summary: Just like the Nexus One, MyTouch 3G Slide is made by HTC and reminds of the current crop of HTC Android phones a lot. In many respects (screen, processor, memory, software, performance) you can say it is HTC Legend with a sliding QWERTY and in a plastic case.

Short extract: In the beginning of June, 2010 T-Mobile released the second device running Android 2.1 OS, MyTouch 3G Slide. "Whoa!" you may say, "Hold it, mister! What was the first one?" The first one was Nexus One.

Short extract: Despite the name, the MyTouch 3G Slide is more than a MyTouch 3G with a slide-out keyboard. HTC has added software customizations that are particularly well suited to new Android users and the hardware has undergone a makeover. The CPU is now 600 MHz vs.

Conclusion: Conclusion The MyTouch 3G Slide is a pleasing addition to T-Mobile's healthy line of Android smartphones. Though not high end and chic, it's an attractive phone that's sturdy and it feels good in the hand.

Summary: The new T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide is the second HTC-developed Android smartphone to wear the T-Mobile myTouch badge. This time around myTouch gets to brag about a hardware keyboard and a pretty current Android 2.1 operating system with HTC Sense user interface extensions. That's not too shabby.

Short extract: The T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide, built by HTC, is the second member of the myTouch family, and the first to feature a full hardware QWERTY keyboard. It also gets a larger touchscreen display and HTC's Sense user interface extensions. Read all about it in Michael's in-depth review.
