This was given as a gift to a young child but I was able to view the pictures stored on the camera. It was perfect for a first time camera - features and price.

For a Canon camera that costs less than $80, you really can't go wrong with this camera. The picture quality is VERY good. The lag time between shots is poor, but shouldn't be a problem for a younger photographer, or someone who is just beginning to use digital cameras.

Short extract: One of the pros with the camera is the image quality. It has very nice colours and the pictures get nice and sharp when the conditions are OK. It has a powerful flash, but not really enough batteries to use it a lot.
