Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W310 camera. For the price I paid, it is a great camera. It may not work the best for small close up items, but it is great for pictures of family or friends. It even has smile recognition.
Pleased my VERY picky son! If it can make him happy, it will make you happy! Used it for many Easter pictures and they turned out great.
it was for a gift, and i have no complaions about the camera, so far so god. i recomended, aldo there are a large variaty of cameras roight now with more MP and more zoom. this camera for common users are fine.
Great camera for the price. Compact and light weight. Takes great pictures. I've owned two other Sony Cybershot cameras and they just keep making them better.

Summary: ConsumerReports.org's tests are thorough, too, and editors rank the W310 against 70 other cameras, but without discussing the cameras much. Imaging-Resource.com doesn't conduct a thorough test, but only because editors conclude that the camera is subpar.
