    The TomTom XXL 550 is wonderful. The large screen is great for at a glance while driving knowing where you are and when the turn is coming up.     I have had this unit for about 9 months now and am sorry to say that it has been nothing but a hassle! First, after about 2 months the Tom-Tom could not 'find' the satellite anymore. I called and spoke with customer service about the issue.

    Received this TomTom last week, opened box (marked refurbished) to discover a *dusty* XXL 550 with the plastic screen film in place. Everything looked okay. Conected to the TomTom website and was promptly offered the latest map update free of charge.
