Briefly...just hooked up the unit. It took 5 min since the connector to my old JVC fit the back of this unit too!!! What a unexpected surprise that was. No wiring needed. Plug and play. The buttons took a little getting used to but I like the rubber turn knob.

I installed this unit at the beginning of the summer. It replaced a 10 year old Kenwood marine unit that was still working, but had no USB or auxiliary input. Having enjoyed it for the summer, the verdict is in. I would buy it all over again.
