This product did NOT work at all how it was supposed to. The Wi-Fi function did not work. It could not be set to work even after it was reset to Factory settings. The volume was perfect if you were in a Library. Never again buy used.

The newly announced 4th generation has several promising updated features, including an improved display, more speed, and an even better OS. However, the 3G is so good that switching would take some serious thought.

Speaking of back light. My back light went out on me after 4 weeks of use. I was not rough with it all all. I kept it in my shirt pocket at all times. Never stressed or flexed. i use it for my work as a journalist, to touch base on my emails, to use apps like a dictionary and while away time with racing games. i use skyype for phone calls in coffee shops a lot. i usually sell my current ipod and buy or trade up. the 64 will not lose value as much, i felt.

Short extract: Living in a family of five, often times the family computer is hard to come by (especially with three of them kids below the age of 13). However, the iPod touch has a great computer version of Internet Explorer called “Safari” and can access almost every website a regular computer or laptop can.
