bought it for my parents who are elderly-hard of hearing and can't see small print too well, so I'm sure it will work fine but directions weren't clear. this set needs a base. so i had to go back and order the base, i'm waiting for base to arrive.

I bought this phone for my elderly grandmother who is legally blind and very hard of hearing. She already had an answering machine so I thought this phone was perfect because I could save money by not buying the one with the answering machine since it wouldn't get used anyways. Buy was I wrong!

I got so tired of straining to here people. I'm not too hard of hearing, but my old phones just didn;t do the job, so I bought the clarity phone. It made a little difference , but I wish it was louder. There is a boost button on the side, witch doesn't seem to do anything at all.

I purchased this phone for my Mom who is hard of hearing. Works great to amplify volume. Phone is to slim. Easy to wrap your fingers around phone and unknowingly press mute. After setting it up for her, she presses other buttons and answering machine setting changes.
