Kelkoo’s publisher products are designed to make earning revenue from merchant offers as simple and flexible as possible. There is no better way to leverage Kelkoo’s extensive experience in the shopping comparison marketplace.
With presence in 21 countries worldwide and with many millions of offers across thousands of merchants the Kelkoo Publisher Network can help you extend your reach further than ever before.
Kelkoo can supply offers to you in two ways. Either directly as data – to present as you see fit – or through Kelkoo Ads, our display-advertising platform.
In order to ensure we can work with the greatest number of publishers across the globe we have developed and refined two main services for data delivery over the years. A fully featured API and an offer feed.
Ecommerce Services (API)
Kelkoo’s suite of web services are designed to give publishers access to all Kelkoo’s offers and related data. The productSearchV3 API makes use of Kelkoo’s own search technology to give you the results you and your users need. Our other APIs can be used to retrieve category, catalog or merchant information. All you need to build your site or app!
You should have moderate coding abilities to use our APIs effectively, getting results is really easy, we’ll provide you all you need to do so, but building something effective that users want to use is always a challenge!
Once you have been given access to the APIs you should jump straight into our documentation on the Kelkoo Developer Network, there you’ll find all you need to build and sign your queries. We even provide a handy tool called the Request Builder to help you test out your queries.
For those whose requirements are more demanding, we will provide you with our entire offer database in a feed format (XML or CSV). Be sure that you are able to process many millions of offers a day over a few hundred files quickly so you can use our feed services effectively.
Our feed services are also an excellent option if you utilise your own search technology or wish to pool offer data from multiple sources.
If you’re unsure if feeds are for you get in touch with our publisher account managers. We also have examples of our feed structure for download in our documentation on the Kelkoo Developer Network along with some script samples to assist with your integration.
You should have moderate to advanced coding abilities to take full advantage of our feed services in addition to the computational power required.
We recognise that not everyone has coding skills or the ability to handle vast amounts of product data. That’s why we offer you an easy way to display offers to your users in traditional (and some less traditional) ad formats.
We’ve spent over two years making our display advertising product one of the most flexible in the marketplace. We’re confident that whether you’re a blog owner who wants to supplement their existing revenue streams or you’re just looking for an alternative to Google’s AdWords then we’ve got what you need.
It’s simple, you design your ad, you get the code and place it on your site. If you serve your ads via a third party then you can do that too. For more information check out our step by step guide to building and managing your ads on the Kelkoo Developer Network.
It’s no good working hard to your Kelkoo integration up and running without being able to report on your performance. We give you everything you need to see just how you’re doing and arm you with the data to help you set your revenue goals.
Get your daily click and revenue statistics quickly and easily. Drill down to into categories to see where you perform strongest.
If you’re a Kelkoo Ads publisher then you’ll also see your click through rate and be able to optimize for RPM.
You don’t have to log into our extranet to get your data. If you want to pull your Kelkoo data into your own reporting systems just use our reporting API. Just log into the extranet, run a report and copy the accompanying API URL, change dates as appropriate. Easy!
Sometimes you’ll need that extra level of reporting granularity and without performance context around your own data points it becomes impossible to improve performance. That’s where Custom Parameters come in. Simply include up to three of your own data points in any Kelkoo Ad or outgoing click URL and you’ll be able to report back on that data from the extranet or reporting API. More information on how to implement this can be found in the Kelkoo Developer Network.
